Is Dirty Air In Your Home Harming Your Family?
Most people don’t realize the air in their home is filthy.
The easiest way to test air quality is sending a sample to a laboratory for analysis.
But if you or your family inexplicably sneeze, wheeze, or have difficulty breathing…
You could be inhaling harmful pollutants like:
Dust
Pet dander
Mold
Bacteria
Toxins from household cleaners
While these contaminants are invisible to the naked eye…
They can trigger an aggressive immune response that causes headaches, brain fog, and poor sleep quality.
Fortunately, you don’t need to spend thousands on an air purifier to clean your home.
Because Barnakl offers an easy, affordable, and effective way to remove dangerous contaminants:
Introducing...
Coconut Shell Carbon Filters
Each filter contains activated carbon — proven to remove mold, allergens, and airborne chemicals from the room like a sponge soaking up a spill.
Simply attach the Barnakl filters to your ceiling fan blades… and you’re good to go.
Unlike air purifiers, Barnakl filters are completely out of sight and don’t take up any space.
And since ceiling fans process over 7x MORE air than air purifiers every minute…
You and your family can breathe cleaner, safer air almost immediately.

What's Lurking In Your Child's Bedroom?
When Barnakl co-founder, Peter, tested the air in his son’s bedroom, the results sent chills down his spine:
“I kept replacing filters every three weeks because they were filthy, and I was really worried. Then I learned the ‘hair’ the test detected was actually goose down and fibers from the kids’ duvet. We swapped it out and now the kids wake up without stuffy noses.”
Peter Finlay
Co-Founder, Barnakl
Here’s how some of these contaminants can harm you and your family’s health:
Synthetic Fibers
Can cause respiratory irritation, coughing, and may worsen asthma when inhaled regularly.
Epithelial Cells (skin cells)
Can harbor dust mites and bacteria; contribute to allergic reactions and asthma symptoms.
Soil Minerals
Can cause lung irritation, chronic respiratory issues, and potentially silicosis with long-term exposure to certain mineral types.
Fungal Hyphae (mold strands)
Can cause serious respiratory infections, allergic reactions, asthma exacerbation, and chronic sinus issues—especially dangerous for children and immunocompromised individuals.
Insect Frass (droppings)
Potent allergen linked to asthma development and allergic reactions
Fungal Spores
Can trigger severe allergic reactions, respiratory infections, and aggravate asthma.
The Good News?
Barnakl air filters effortlessly clean the air in your home and keep your family safe.
30-Day Breathe Easy Guarantee
Cleaner, Safer, Mold-Free Air In Just Three Hours
Inhaling mold spores can trigger respiratory issues and severe allergic reactions that are generally harmful to children's developing respiratory systems.
However, if you have a ceiling fan, you can reduce dangerous mold spores lurking in your home.
A study by the Aerosol and Engineering Laboratories found using six Barnakl air filters reduced 99.9% of airborne mold in just 3 hours.
The activated carbon acts like a magnet that attracts microscopic particles, removing them from the air supply.
End result?
You and your family keep dangerous contaminants out of your lungs!

How It Works
Your ceiling fan moves 10-15x more air than standalone purifiers. Barnakl's activated coconut shell carbon filters stick to the top of each blade and trap 297 pollutants as your fan runs.
The porous carbon surface attracts VOCs, allergens, mold spores, and odors like a magnet. You'll see the difference as filters visibly capture dirt and gain 15-30% weight from trapped contaminants.
How To Install
Peel the backing off each adhesive filter panel
Stick one panel to the top of each fan blade (3 panels per fan)
Turn on your fan and let it work
Replace every 60 days for continuous clean air
Takes under 60 seconds. No tools or step stool needed.

FAQ
Does Barnakl have a smell?
Nope! The filters are completely odorless and actually eliminate odors in your home.
Do I have to get rid of my air purifier if I want to use Barnakl?
Absolutely not! Barnakl works great on its own, but it also boosts the effectiveness of existing air purifiers and can extend their longevity by sharing the workload.
How does an activated carbon filter actually work?
Barnakl's activated coconut shell carbon traps contaminants in its porous surface. You'll see an increase in weight of 15-30% after using it - that's the chemicals and gasses it's captured. By sitting on top of your ceiling fan, it maximizes air contact to trap far more pollutants than standalone purifiers.
How often do Barnakl filters need to be changed?
Every 30 days. Subscribe and save 25% on auto-deliveries so you're always ready when it's time to refresh.
Does it impact the balance of the fan?
Nope! Each filter only weighs 6 grams and doesn't imbalance the rotation. We also tested the airflow performance and nothing was affected.
Will the adhesive on the filter damage my fan blades?
No. Just peel the filter away from the Velcro base. If you need to remove the adhesive, peel it off slowly and it won't damage the blade surface.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Barnakl have a smell?
Nope! Not only does Barnakl trap and eliminate odors in your home, but the filters themselves are completely odorless.
Do I have to get rid of my air purifier if I want to use Barnakl?
Absolutely not! Barnakl works wonders on its own, but it also seriously boosts the effectiveness and efficiency of existing air purifiers – whether built-in to your HVAC system, or as a standalone purifier unit.
Think of Barnakl as an “air purifier enabler” that supercharges the work of your existing system. (Plus: it can even help extend your current purifier’s longevity by taking on some of its heavy workload!)
How does an activated carbon filter actually work?
Barnakl’s activated coconut shell carbon filter removes contaminants from the air by trapping them in its porous surface. The best way to see it work (aside from noticing much cleaner air) is to weigh the filter when you open it, and weigh it again when it’s ready to change. You’ll see an increase in weight of 15-30% after using it. The weight gain represents the chemicals and gasses the activated coconut shell carbon has attracted!
Plus, our Barnakl units are set up to maximize the amount of air in contact with the carbon. They sit right on top of your ceiling fans, which are already churning out a ton of air across your space. This way, they can nab a whole lot of toxins and contaminants, much more than a standalone air purifier could ever hope to do.
How often do Barnakl filters need to be changed?
We recommend changing your filters about every 60 days. To make this even easier, you can subscribe & save 25% on auto-deliveries so you’re always ready when it’s time to refresh your filters!
Does it impact the balance of the fan?
Nope! Each filter only weights 6 grams. So they don't imbalance the rotation of the ceiling fan. We also tested the CFM to see if it would add resistance and degrade the CFM performance, and nothing was reported.
Will the adhesive on the filter damage my fan blades?
We designed the Barnakl so you don't have to remove the adhesive each time, rather just peel the filter away from the Velcro. Which requires very little pressure.
If you do need to remove the adhesive, just peel it off slowly and it shouldn't peel away the surface of the ceiling fan blade.
