You need one filter per blade for balance. If you have a 4-blade fan, buy our 5-blade pack and keep the 5th filter as a spare replacement.

How often do I need to replace the filters?
Every 60 days under standard household use. If you have multiple shedding pets or suffer from severe seasonal allergies, we recommend swapping them every 45 days.
Will the filters fly off when my fan is on high speed?
No they wont. Once applied, Barnakl stays locked flat to your fan blade even at maximum velocity, but still peels away cleanly.
Will this make my ceiling fan wobble or shake?
Nope! Each filter only weights 6 grams. So they don't imbalance the rotation of the ceiling fan. We also tested the CFM to see if it would add resistance and degrade the CFM performance, and nothing was reported.
Will the adhesive damage my fan blades or strip the paint?
We designed the Barnakl so you don't have to remove the adhesive each time, rather just peel the filter away from the Velcro. Which requires very little pressure.
If you do need to remove the adhesive, just peel it off slowly and it shouldn't peel away the surface of the ceiling fan blade.
